Think about a time when someone challenged your opinion or told you that you were wrong.

 Prompt Response: My friend challenged my opinion on the death penalty. I said it's a valid system to punish criminals who have committed crimes against humanity and that person's victims would be satisfied. My friend argued that although it was a valid system, the criminals should suffer in prison until their death and it feels wrong to let the criminal escape so easily. I still stand with my opinion on the death penalty but she made me realize that death is an easy escape and that the criminal should at least suffer in some way.

Summary: We learned new vocabulary words and their definition and did a few exercises using them.

Reflection: We expand our vocabulary for our writing at a college level because we are in a AP course and should know more sophisticated words instead of using the same ones over again.
